Publishing a pattern#

Publishing a pattern is straightforward: on Cromo Cloud, go to the pattern detail page, click the ... menu, and select Publish. That's it. Once published, the pattern appears in the Cromo Cloud library, visible to all visitors.

Before you publish, though, you'll want to decide how the pattern is shared. You have three options.

Share the pattern for free#

Click Edit pattern, click the red pencil icon next to the PAID pattern tag, and select This is a free pattern.

Sell the pattern on Ravelry#

Keep the license type set to This is a paid pattern. The built-in integration between Cromo Cloud and Ravelry ensures that everyone who buys your pattern — and nobody else — automatically gains access to it in CromoViewer. The next section covers the Ravelry integration in more detail.

Sell the pattern elsewhere#

To sell on another platform or your own webshop, again choose This is a paid pattern in the license type selection. You can then use personal access codes to limit who can open your pattern on Cromo Cloud. This is explained in more detail on the next page.
